A Few Words

About Us

The name of PROJECT SETU stemmed from the gap that was identified between urban and rural healthcare. About 70% of India’s population lives in villages where access to primary health care services may not be robust. SETU is therefore the bridge that connects urban physicians with rural health care.

Being born to social entrepreneur parents, PROJECT SETU sprouted from the conviction to carry on their legacy in a structured way. My altruistic or philanthropic side manifested through medical camps for the underprivileged. What better place could it be to start, than my own native ancestral village?

PROJECT SETU is dedicated to the fond memory of my late father Mr. Jagdish Jhan.

Our Journey

This PROJECT also holds strong with the unparalleled encouragement of my mother Mrs. Suneeta Jhan and my pillar of support, my husband Mr. Soumeyn Ganguly.

I started with humble beginnings with simple medical camps in my native village. Progressed on to collaborating with other doctors and thereby conducting more camps in Delhi NCR and Kerala. We advanced further by adding on screening of Chronic medical conditions through free Blood tests and providing medications quarterly.

Awareness programs were also introduced gradually.

The principles on which this initiative was commenced were:

Personalized Care
We are pledged to providing healthcare for the underprivileged.
Quality health care
Project Setu Foundation is committed to providing quality healthcare services to individuals in rural communities.
Patient centredness
We strive to provide comprehensive, compassionate care to improve the health and well-being of individuals and families in the communities we serve.
Accessibility
We are dedicated to ensuring that our clients receive the highest standard of care. Through our Quality Healthcare service.
Affordability
We believe that everyone should have access to affordable and accessible healthcare, regardless of their location or financial situation.
Great Staff

Our Team

Our carers love what they do, and that's what makes them so special.

We realized that continuity of care would be the most important component to delivering high-quality primary health care services. Therefore the formation of a “Foundation Trust” was quintessential to making this initiative effective.

OUR MISSION

CONTINUITY OF CARE

The name PROJECT SETU has been termed to bridge the gap between rural and urban India.
In our country, about 70% of the population lives in villages, where access to medical facilities, quality primary health care amenities, and health literacy is very limited.
To improve the national health indicators as a whole, we cannot do so, without bridging the health gaps between rural and urban India.
SETU has thus been formed and aims to identify the major issues that people are facing in rural India.
Therefore SETU will serve as the bridge that will connect urban physicians with rural healthcare.
